Dr. William Stanford Receives 2006 Gold Medal Award from the North American Society of Cardiac Imaging Dr. William Stanford, Professor-Emeritus, University of Iowa Department of Radiology, was awarded the North American Society of Cardiac Imaging Gold Medal for his outstanding  contributions in the field of cardiac imaging at the Society’s annual meeting in Las Vegas.  Dr. Stanford was recognized for his research in Electron Beam CT and Helical CT imaging of coronary artery   Dr. Arthur Stillman, President of NASCI, presents Dr. William Stanford with 2006 Gold Medal award disease and especially coronary artery calcification. The North American Society of Cardiac Imaging is one of the premier societies in cardiovascular disease imaging. October 20, 2006
