Areas of Research Interest and Current Projects

1. Functional lung imaging, including CT, proton MRI, hyperpolarized 3-Helium MRI and other novel technologies.
2. Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic pulmonary embolism.
3. Cardiac imaging using multiple modalities (including MRI and CT) 
4. Director of Cardiac CT New Clinical Initiative UIHC.
5. Lung cancer imaging (from CXR to CT, MRI and PET-CT).
6. Development of software tools for disease detection and quantification for multiple modalities.
